The Macrocosmic view: this would be apparent to External Intelligences studying us.

From the Top, Down─
A Holistic View of Humans as a Species:
rewritten on Saturday, March 5, 2005 by Michael Haydon. Originally written on Tuesday, January 27, 2004

The Human Species, as a life form with all its dynamic interactions, can be most simply broken down into (3) three intrinsically defining categories ─ the BODY, the ENVIRONMENT, and the MIND. Marking the (3) three corner stones of comprehensive Human Existence:

  • the BODY─The human organism has evolved from other lower-life organisms over a process of millions of years. Relative to each other, humans are all nearly physically identical. Thus, nearly all maintain the same physical potentials.

  • the ENVIRONMENT─The human organism, like all other organisms on Earth, is a part of the Earth. Thus, the Earth is essential to the survival of humans and we must learn to adapt to it as other Earth organisms have done if we are to stand any chance of survival.

  • the MIND─We are all enculturated as youths to participate in expected roles in society. The result is an elimination of the true autonomous and creative individual as we must play by the rules of the society. Culture aside, however, the human is an Earth organism with an unestablished, ungauged, and ─ seemingly, thus far ─ an unknown and fleeting potential.

A Statement On Ethnocentrism/Cultural Bias:
written on Friday, March 9, 2004.
As a product of such arrogance and/or unawareness, there will always be widespread upheaval towards any form of internal societal/cultural change. This is more of a function of human attachment, which is intertwined with the societally-programmed behavioral patterns that were predominantly trained into the individuals by their parent(s)/guardian(s).[...CLICK FOR MORE]

A Brief Comment on Awareness & Ancestry:
written on Thursday, June 6, 2013.
Why is it that we so easily forget who we are? Did you know that I am the result of thousands of years of replenishing the diploid number? Did you know that anyone who is human and who is reading this right now is just the same? Some say tens; some say hundreds – regardless, many thousands of years were spent pruning, narrowing and evolving the human gene. [...CLICK FOR MORE]

Holos Mode Thinking:
rewritten on Saturday, March 5, 2005 by Michael Haydon. Originally written on Tuesday, February 3, 2004.

We all have a way of constructing what could be best described figuratively as a grid in our minds that serves as the boundaries of our realities. This is a trait inherent in the structure of the human brain. We maintain a constructed perception of the world in which we process information relative to. These figurative boundaries are based off of our experiences in our societies and the knowledge we have gained thus far in life.

In fact, as a direct result of culture and our societies, many of these 'boundaries' are coerced into people; they are boundaries we all must not overstep or we will be frowned upon by those around us. Sadly, these boundaries are usually followed merely because it is what has been trained or programmed into us(this applies to nearly the whole human populace). We are inherently social animals, so we can be easily manipulated by these figurative social constructs. Mostly because our societies are considered authority figures in our minds, the limits set by these societies have much strength. Further meaning that it requires much more effort on an individual's part to break him/herself free of such imposed restrictions.

I, however, am, at the least, partially aware of such constructs and see many follies with it. I therefore dedicate my life to virtual absolutisms/certainties. Meaning, at any point in any time, that which I percieve as the boundaries of the world as constructed in my head — which, as aforementioned, is something we all do — can be changed. This, however, is a psychological trait that is not maintained by the majority of the population. Once again, because we are social animals, we just have a natural tendency to conform and follow others unless we recognize this absurdity and change it.

I predominately use Logical and Macrocosmic reasoning to structure the boundaries of my realities. Yet I always maintain the thought that I could be wrong at any time in what I know and I always allow the flow of opposing information to test my constructs. Thus, the boundaries of the reality constructed in my head is a product of lots of creative, autonomous thought. I have made many comparisons between belief systems and I adhere only to those which make the most sense and can best account. I stretch the beliefs inside-out comparing them with other modes of thought and the one that survives these processes are adopted as my virtual or temporary truths.

Thus, challenge me. If you do not agree with what I say, tell me. I maintain the faculties to then properly assess an outcome.

Human Holos Project Info:
written on Friday, January 30, 2004.

Holos is the Greek word meaning "whole." Holism is the view that a whole system of beliefs must be analyzed rather than simply its individual components (Encarta.msn.com). Thus the Human Holos Project is an attempt to dissect various human issues throughout the world we live in with an objective and holistic perspective.[...CLICK FOR MORE]

A Word on Science:
written Wednesday, January 28, 2004.

Science is the method of using intrinsic brain faculties, such as deductive reasoning, to come to conclusions that can be replicated by any other informed person. This is why science is important to the intellectual evolution of humans. [...CLICK FOR MORE]

Alternative Models:
written on Sunday, April 4, 2004.

If one cognates long and deep enough than one would realize that each culture has its own form of science, or deductive methodologies, because science is a product of our brain physiology. Meaning, our brains are capable of logical reasoning and thus our actions and thinking will reflect that. And many patterns of behavior in the past have been governed by such methodologies. A Misguided Government:
written on Monday, February 2, 2004.

I submit, that not only is our science tainted with unobjective paradigms, but so is our government. I submit that government is meant to be used as a tool much like how science is used as a tool to find objective explanations to things. However, government's job is to uphold objectivity. To maintain a large populace with proper order. Thus, to contaminate it with a belief system is to commit the ultimate crime against it. Yet that is what has been done. [...CLICK FOR MORE]

Science vs. Culture:
rewritten on Saturday, April 9, 2004.

...there is a dichotomous relationship between the two concepts of science and belief system/culture, but few scientists acknowledge this because most, if not all, are not aware of it; thus they retain the possibility of yielding biased data. [...CLICK FOR MORE]

Bias in the usage of human tools.

A Diagram Graphically Portraying Ethnocentrism, etc:
created on Monday, February 2, 2004.

Belief System + Brain Tool = Failed Tool

This diagram is the model which highlights the cause of biased information. In this diagra, which applies to all the tools used by human brain functioning, it can be deduced that one who is contaminated by the limitations and the biases of a belief system will surround the resulting information in those biases/unobjectivities. The saying, "looking at the world with rose colored glasses" is well suited for this analogy. Science, Government, and countless other concepts are merely tools for humans to utilize with their brains and, for the most part, it is necessary to let go of one's belief systems for that tool to be most effective.
